During the panel session, Khashman joined four local entrepreneurs in technology fields who are also alumni of the UNCC College of Computing and Informatics. Each panelist addressed current computer majors within the program, focusing on ways to learn and apply leadership skills using technology while also highlighting professional examples from their own experiences. In addition, the panel opened the forum to answer student questions, including discussion on what the start-up community is like; how to work with other entrepreneurs; steps to take when establishing a technology company; and creating a plan to gain initial funding.
