Charlotte, N.C. | June 15, 2018 -- Dan Gotte, ImagineSoftware CFO, has been nominated as a finalist for the 2018 CFO of the Year Award by Charlotte Business Journal.  This award recognizes local professionals with outstanding performance in their roles as corporate financial stewards. 

As ImagineSoftware's CFO, Gotte oversees all financial functions of the company including accounting, treasury, and financial analysis.  Throughout his eighteen months with the company, Gotte has effectively impacted the success of the company and its bottom line.  "My goal has always been to make businesses stronger, better managed, and more profitable," said Gotte.  "I have instituted a new cash management methodology and budgeting process for all departments.  These intitiatives provide the foundation for future growth, and I'm happy to report that the company is already experiencing that growth." 

With over twenty years of experience as a financial executive, Gotte has heavily impacted the community through volunteer work, counseling, financial advising, and through the development of both the Micro Angel Fund (the original angel fund in the Charlotte, N.C. region) and Charlotte Angel Fund.  "In every situation, I hope my mentees learn that the right financial services, properly aligned with the business, are one of a business owner's most powerful competitive advantages in the marketplace," said Gotte.
