An interview with RBMA Presidents Jo Giancotti & Delena Supinski

Spring is finally here, and that means a lot of things for us at Imagine. 70 degree temperatures, blooming flowers, and allergies in full swing - unfortunately! The beginning of Spring also means newly inducted RBMA chapter presidents! We caught up with two members of the ImagineSoftware family - Jo Giancotti, Inside Sales Representative and newly inducted President of the Oklahoma RBMA Chapter, and Delena Supinski, Corporate Ambassador and newly inducted President of the California RBMA Chapter - to discuss their new positions, what the future holds for the RBMA, and some of their favorite memories as members!

Congratulations to you both on your presidencies! Why don't you tell us a little about yourselves and what you do at ImagineSoftware?
J: I have been in the Radiology Medical field for 30+ years. I joined the team in October 2013 and currently serve as the Inside Sales Representative on Imagine's Sales Team.
D: My role as Corporate Ambassador is to consult with our clients and employees. I visit clients nationwide to ensure they understand their value and how much we appreciate them. I also provide training to the Imagine Team quarterly to help them understand our clients' demanding issues and needs.

What are your responsibilities as President of your RBMA Chapters?
J: My responsibilities include building relationships to help grow the membership of the Oklahoma Chapter with the help of newly elected officers and Chapter members!
D: As President of the CA RBMA, I will provide information and education to the membership to assist them in improving business administration in Radiology practices in order to better serve patients and the medical profession.

What does the future hold for your chapters? Where do you see them going within the next year?
J: RBMA's "Power of One" mission is for each member to recruit at least one colleague who would benefit from the RBMA and for Chapters to achieve 10% growth. I would like to see our organization grow by demonstrating its value to members and to those that have not yet joined.
D: Annually, the CA RBMA will provide an educational conference offering tracks that will enable members to receive their CEUs.

What are you looking forward to most about RBMA PaRADigm in April?
J: Networking and fostering relationships with clients and potential clients that have been formed over many years in the Radiology industry. You can't be in the business of Radiology without being part of RBMA!
D: I'm looking forward to joining other Chapter Presidents and National members to discuss how to develop more programs to help all members stay up to date on healthcare changes in Radiology and how to reach out to assist National RBMA with new memberships.

Okay, let's have some fun! Tell us your favorite memory from your time as an RBMA member.
J: Winning 1st place in the 2001 RBMA Golf Tournament with Dale Fandel in Scottdale, AZ!
D: My very first meeting at RBMA! I experienced the "Wow Moment" that helped me become the member I am today.
